We spoke about Ecology of the Soul: Freedom Through Ethical Permaculture at the Greater Reset on Thursday Jan 19th, 2023, watch the talk from last year
An integral part of the One Great Work is teaching teachers. This is a numbers game and the more teachers there are, the more influence we can have to make a lasting impact in the fight for the freedom of humanity. Thomas Jefferson once said, "The cost of freedom is eternal vigilance," and with this task in mind we have chosen to provide a space to meet with others who have been called to Truth.
At our private events speakers, teachers, healers, doctors, and anyone in the community who wants to share, take the stage during the first half of the day. Followed by an organic and plant-based farm-to-table potluck, kids activities, musicians and more. Those with a craft, vendors and artists are also welcome to engage in an agorist marketplace. There is a strict moral code that will be enforced at our events. That is, to respect The Golden Rule, do no harm, also known as the non-aggression principle, and to assume responsibility for yourself and the consequences of your actions.
If you are one of those called on the path to Truth, with love in your heart, and are ready to take actions that will contribute to the freedom of the people of earth, inquire below about joining our mailing list.
We have an incredible library of films to share, focused on documentaries that question the narrative and dive deep into challenging and poignant topics. Watching a film under the canopy of the oak trees is a joy to experience, with an organic plant-based potluck dinner to begin, and seating at our outdoor movie theater. Education is key in this fight and we want to support our community by screening powerful films that engage us in stimulating and passionate discussion that facilitates real life change.
It's important to approach subjects in conversation with an open mind, and if there is a large amount of people, it helps to break up into small groups for the most productive discussions. Often times there are people who don't feel comfortable to speak up in a group discussion, for numerous reasons, but smaller groups facilitate a willingness to engage.
To stimulate conversation, and to make sure our friends make it home safe after a late night, we serve organic pu'er tea, a caffeinated and aged tea, traditional to Japanese tea ceremonies.
We employ the style of World Cafe for our after film discussions. We have a list of questions prepared based on the film, and people get into small groups of 3 or 4. With each question the groups rotate, allowing everyone the chance to interact with most of the people in the larger group. One person at each table chooses to be the note taker for the group. By the end we gather around together and review the notes taken and insights reached.
There is always work to be done on the farm, and we have a long list of projects we are working on. As the saying goes, "many hands make light work."
Some days we like to invite our friends to the farm for work parties. Planting, digging, building, harvesting, and all around improving the property and Blue Hill Farm.
